Conditions for participation
The GIF 2011 fair is open to innovative-technology entrepreneurs and start-ups based in France and Europe.
150 booths are available for exhibitors working in the following fields:
- Electronics, information technology
- Environment, energy
- Biotechnologies and healthcare technologies
- Process engineering, materials and transport
- Instrumentation
Applications are assessed by the organizing committee.
Innovations will be selected depending on the following criteria:
- originality,
- quality and degree of innovation,
- solidity of proof of concept,
- potential for application,
- readiness for transfer to industry.
EXHIBITOR BOOTHS AND SERVICES
Registration includes:
A six square metre space
- Use of the space during the exhibition, from erection to dismantling,
- A booth, measuring 2 x 3 metres, equipped with a table, two chairs and a poster display,
- One 220V power socket per booth,
- A WiFi internet connection,
- A sign identifying and locating the booth.
Exhibitor services
- Three exhibitor badges for admission,
- A space in the exhibitors’ car park,
- Access to the online business meeting service,
- Access to coffee breaks and buffet meals on 20 and 21 October 2011
- Access to cocktail parties (welcoming cocktail on 19 October and cocktail supper party on 20 October).

- Access to selected tech-shows, with a demonstration of your innovation and live large-screen display in a dedicated area in the middle of the fair.
Web and media visibility
- Inclusion of an insert presenting the booth in the press release, the online catalogue and the programme.
- Inclusion of a detailed presentation of your innovation in the online catalogue.
Participation in the Trophées GIF 2011 contest.
Every year a panel of judges selects one exhibitor in each of GIF’s five focus areas.
Winners enjoy extensive press coverage.
